Another Study on Synthetic Hormones... More Proof On The Pile

The International Agency for Research on Cancer, an agency of the World Health Organization arm of the United Nations as a result of an analysis by 21 scientists has decided to add SYNTHETIC HRT to the list of cancer causing medications.

What does this mean? Nothing new but another big helping of proof to the already large pile of risks associated with synthetic hormones.

The hormones they are referring to in the report are the same synthetic estrogens and progestins that were always known to increase the risk of cancer. The hormones they are referring to are Premarin and Provera, the same HRT we all see now again on daily TV ads.

It is unbelievable to me, and I am sure to you as well, that no one in the world of science gets the difference between synthetic hormones, bioidentical hormones and normal human hormones. If they do, they never seem to want to talk about it.  If you were a doctor who kept receiving these reports, would you not see if you could educate/train yourself on new options instead of trying lower doses or no solutions at all?

The pharmaceutical industry has won again. They have successfully confused the scientists whom they have sponsored.

On the Today Show on NBC this morning, Dr. Judith Reichmann continued her unsubstantiated ramble on the balance between when too much synthetic is enough and when it is safe.

Heres my take and what you need to share with your doctors and friends.

There is no such thing as SAFE synthetic hormone replacement therapy!
No amount of Premarin or Provera is okay. Not now, not ever!

Your own personally made estrogen causes cancer when your body does not make it in balance with your own other hormones like progesterone and testosterone. 
As we age, we make less good progesterone and estrogen and thus increase our own risk of getting cancer. We dont need to add synthetic HRT to help us get cancer faster.

There is another FDA approved, safer and better option.

That option is bioidentical hormones.

Bioidentical hormones are different from synthetic HRT.  They are not the same thing as your uninformed doctor might try to make you believe.

They are prescription medications but their molecular formula is exactly the same as the molecular formula of the human estrogen and progesterone. When properly prescribed by an expert in the use of bioidentical hormones, these hormones bring back hormonal balance to the woman and help aging and out of balance women feel better and stay healthy for longer.

The risk of cancer with the proper combination of estradiol, progesterone and micronized testosterone has never been shown to be higher than the average person taking no hormones at all. And there is an enormous body of scientific data to substantiate this statement.  Keep in mind bioidentical hormones have been in use for longer than synthetics.

So why not choose bioidentical hormones to help us feel better, reverse the symptoms of menopause and hormone imbalance safely and in wellness and enjoy our lives?

The challenge for us is to try to get a solution out to all women that is not patentable enough to make it interesting to Big Pharma marketers.  If Pfizer could make a patent on bioidentical hormones there would an add on every channel and in every magazine in the world.  That is how it works but that is not how it has to be.

World of mouth is far stronger than any ad or marketing campaign.  Just speak to a woman who has followed a proper bioidentical hormone regimen and see the changes to their life and well being.  If you are one of those women, share your story and what you have experienced.
