Chronic fatigue doesn't complicate pregnancy

BOSTON - Research from Harvard University medical school here offers reassurance to women with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) who fear adverse consequences of pregnancy, according to the authors.
The study, in the Archives of Internal Medicine, suggested most infant outcomes are not adversely affected when the mother has CFS.
A detailed questionnaire was administered to 86 women regarding 252 pregnancies that occurred before or after the onset of CFS and the outcomes of these pregnancies were observed.
