Chan, EWG Targeting Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Laotian SF Bay AnglersOAKLAND - Assemblywoman Wilma Chan and the Environmental Working Group kicked off a multilingual public education campaign today at the Berkeley Fishing Pier to warn anglers about the dangers of the toxic chemical PBDE and other contaminants found in fish caught in San Francisco Bay.As part of the kick-off, volunteers handed out brochures in six languages about PBDEs and other toxics found in Bay fish caught at the Berkeley pier.
